Technical Difficulties

I want to apologize for the delay in posting.  I’ve been experiencing some technical difficulties lately…not with my computer but with life in general.  If you recall, back in October I had to go in for a round of tests for my Crohn’s Disease.  It seemed everything was ok.  Since then, my new meds have seemed to affect me negatively.  Dr. Kim sent me back for more blood tests (only 9 vials!!) and for a follow-up appointment in January.

I haven’t heard an official diagnosis from her, but I have from my body (and from Jerrad) that the meds aren’t working right.  I’ve been having trouble thinking straight, sleeping, resting, and just plain out daily functions.  I have been having some slight anxiety attacks.  I’ve even been mean and hateful to my students.  I just can’t help it.  I’m not sure if it’s from the Imuran or what, but I’m seriously considering taking myself off the meds.  I know I’m not supposed to self-medicate, but sometimes a person needs to take control of her own health and well-being.  I think if I stop with the Imuran and go back to the Asacol, I’ll know by Jan 14 what the culprit is.

Thoughts?  Suggestions?  Strategies for coping?
