Home, Sweet Home – Making Our House Into a Home

I spent several hours with my Papa today.  I went over for breakfast and helped him sort through and roll some change and then I helped him work in his 50 state quarters collection.  He talked me into taking him out to lunch.  I probably wasn’t supposed to since the strain could cause another heart attack, but we figure that as long as he’s happy, that’s the best medicine we can give him.  We went to Auntie Ann’s in Pickens and ate some cheeseburgers.  It was nothing fancy but it was wonderful.  I enjoyed the conversation and company. 

Thank you Lord for the time I’m getting to spend with my grandfather…it’s so very precious.  I pray that I get to make the most out of my remaining time with him.
