Home, Sweet Home – Making Our House Into a Home

My mind is going a million miles an hour tonight.  I should have already been asleep, but my mind is churning with thoughts of everything — Papa’s declining health, Daddy in Mexico, and me planning future “events.”  There’s so much to think about and even plan.  But one thing that keeps me grounded is knowing that Jesus holds everything in his hands.  “A man’s heart plans his ways but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9.  He directs every step I take in spite of my plans, my weakness, and my struggles.  I love knowing that no matter what goes on in my life, He still loves me and wants what’s best for me.  He already knows what’s going to happen to my grandfather.  He’s taking care of my dad while he’s in Mexico.  And he’s definitely going to be in the midst of our lives together.
